  Invite friends, family, neighbors or colleagues to your home or other venue for an intimate awareness and fundraising opportunity. • Sponsorship/Corporate Giving
  • Annual Events: Itafari organizes many awareness-building events throughout the year. Show your company's true colors by sponsoring a concert, auction, celebrity speaker series, or other occasion.
  • Employee Match Contributions: We can accept matching employee contribution forms with your donation and we'll submit them to your company.
• Individual Donation Opportunities
  • Buy a Goat ($50):Purchase a nanny goat for fifty dollars each, which will be given to cooperatives of Child Households. We have formed 35 cooperatives of 10 children each who will be given 15 Nanny Goats and a South African Billy Boer Goat that will be cross bred. These goats will birth kids, provide fertilizer that can be sold and used to grow grass, eventually sold for meat and give children a chance to care for themselves, start their own businesses and become empowered.
        
  • Buy a Brick ($75): It takes so little to make a bright new future for the people of Rwanda. Sponsor a brick that will be engraved with your name and placed on the front of the Kigali Parents Secondary School (KPSS).  The children will remember always that people all over the world believe in them.     About the KPSS: Education is key to poverty reduction and this high school will provide the highest level of affordable education available in Rwanda. The KPSS is open to all students regardless of ethnic or religious views. Mission statement: to provide affordable quality education and hope for a better future to the children of Rwanda. Vision statement: to produce the most skillful competitive citizens who are models of servant leadership in their communities.
        
  • Sponsor a Child ($360 Annually): Your annual Sponsorship helps fund a child’s education and basic necessities, including food and medical care. We also hold an annual Holiday Party for all the children, where they receive a meal and a gift, such as a mattress or clothing. You are invited to correspond personally with your child and will receive quarterly updates and letters from him or her. Children are identified for Sponsorship based on need: they are orphans, have parents living with HIV/AIDS, or live in impoverished or child headed households.

  • Provide a MicroLoan (suggested - $100, or any amount)We work directly with non-governmental agencies (NGOs) in Rwanda who have recognized, well-run and managed micro-loan programs in Rwanda. Information about loan recipients and our organization partners will be provided in our semi-annual newsletter.
