Itafari Foundation is committed to
supporting 179 children of Rwanda struggling with hunger,
poverty, or AIDS. Through Itafari Foundation, child sponsors
provide support to 164 of those children. Due to economic
hardships in the United States, 15 children have lost
sponsor support since early 2009. An additional 26 children
are currently on our waiting list. Support must be restored
to those children who lost sponsors before we can begin to
address the needs of the children on the waiting list.
Child sponsorship assists the most
vulnerable and innocent through education, training, and
other needs as they are identified. Your sponsorship dollars
directly help your child by providing education fees,
uniforms, and books allowing them to attend school and learn
a trade for self sufficiency. Child sponsorship also covers
health insurance and miscellaneous expenses as they arise.
During this season of honoring
mothers, fathers, and all who care, please consider an
annual child sponsorship of $300. Your support, which can be
paid monthly at $25 per month, will help Itafari Foundation
provide and care for the children of Rwanda. Won’t you
consider taking this step toward healing our world and
rebuild the foundation of a country torn apart by fear,
hatred and ignorance? If not us, who will help these
children get the education and care they need?
